Now I can almost here you saying “Big deal, corrupt police, hidden evidence, corrupt fiscals, perjurer’s for the crown – the usual High Court Trial in Scotland”. You will no doubt be wondering why I have even told you all of this.

Let me go back to the beginning. You severely punished an advocate for making an insensitive joke, so please tell me what you would do to advocates who were involved in the conspiracy against me? I ask that question because while I was on remand I sent six (recorded delivery) letters to Colin Boyd QC the Lord Advocate for Scotland. I warned Mr Boyd about all of the above and of a plot by the corrupt police to sneak agents into the jury whose job it would be to bully and confuse the genuine jurors in order to gain a guilty verdict against me. Mr Boyd ignored my plea and allowed my trial to go ahead and for the police agents to be sneaked into the jury.

Also the prosecutor at my trial Alan MacKay QC led the false witnesses and milked the false evidence for all that it was worth. And when Madden and Edgar refused to repeat the lies that they had been forced to tell in the witness statements – Alan MacKay refused to allow them to tell the truth. At one point one of them began to tell the truth and Mr MacKay said “No! No! No!” and thereafter simply read out the statements of Madden and Edgar! Police cctv evidence proved that Madden and Edgar were not there yet the police put them forward as witnesses against me. The Lord Advocate himself knew that the witnesses were false yet he used them against me. Alan MacKay QC knew that the witnesses were false and even when they refused to play along he blatantly read out the lies to the jury!

I was speaking to another QC and asking how Colin Boyd and Alan MacKay can possibly get away with such blatant corruption and he said, “They are only doing their job”.

What is your personal and professional feeling on these matters? Do you believe that helping to get an innocent man sentenced to life in jail comes under the job description of a QC? Do you believe that completely ignoring a criminal police conspiracy and still bring a prosecution against the victim of that conspiracy comes under the job description of a lord Advocate?

I am serving life imprisonment for a crime that I did not commit. I have suffered a miscarriage of justice and have suffered this brutal torture for three long years.

I deserve to have a public inquiry into this terrible case. If Colin Boyd QC is corrupt then he should be jailed. If he is not corrupt then he is certainly guilty of a dereliction of duty and should be sacked for incompetence. If Alan MacKay QC is corrupt then he should be jailed. If he is not corrupt then to borrow some words from George Galloway, MacKay is so cavalier with his idea of justice that he should be sacked.

The only person from the prosecution side who has shown any integrity is the trial judge Lord Emslie, he was strong but fair during the trial and has given a truthful account in his report.

After being treated with utter contempt by the dark forces of Scots law, I feel justified in making all of these details public. Therefore I will send copies of this letter to every major newspaper in Scotland and to at least two newspapers in every other country in the European Union. I am sure that those journalists will be almost as eager as I am to receive your reply. Even if the editors refuse to print this letter, at least they will all get to know whether the faculty of advocates are corrupt or straight.
